Great first visit to Sandy Scoops today! My daughter has a nut allergy and we always like to talk through their processes before ordering any ice creams. Kathryn and her team were all over it and happy to advise re allergens etc - with separate scoops and blenders for nuts! This is sincerely appreciated! We hope you go well Sandy Scoops - we need a great local ice cream shop for our village 💖🍦

Great service, amazing ice-cream not to mention a local business owned by locals. Feels good to grab an ice cream from Sandy Scoops, watching the sunset over the water and knowing my money is going toward supporting local rather than a large commercial chain.

Good to know

Are you open all year?

We take a winter break. In 2026 we closed on 17 May and reopened on 4 September, so the summer season is on now, seven days a week.

Do the flavours change?

A few rotate through the season and we post a flavour of the day on Instagram. Tiramisu, Dubai Chocolate and Passion Pavlova have all had a turn this spring.

Do you sell snacks as well?

Yes. We stock Popkin's artisan popcorn in six flavours.
